Benefit of Glycolic Acid Peel Pads | Skincare

Hello once again, guys! I know I have been MIA for nearly 3 weeks now? The main reason for my MIA is due to my schedule being reshuffled temporarily. I know it's no excuse but I am making a comeback soon as I know I will be back on my old roster again... YEY! haha. Well today, I shall talk about an ingredient that I personally feel has been changing my life since I started using it. You can see from the title :)

Do you think that putting acid products on your face/skin sounds scary? I was skeptical at first but I am a LEGIT CONVERT and I cannot see myself not using either the Dr Dennis Gross peel pads nor the Malin+Goetz peel pads.

Today, I shall talk about the benefits of using a Glycolic Acid Peel and the reasons why I can't live without these pads.  Glycolic Acid Peel is a chemical peel whereby it's main component is glycolic acid, which is derived from sugar cane and also known as a fruit acid.

Glycolic acid is a remarkable treatment for wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation and acne. The peel pads work on the epidermis layer of the skin to 'unglue' dry patches/dead skin where it sits on the surface layer of the skin so that the new fresh layer can be visible without any consequences of damaging the skin.

Through my experience using Glycolic Acid in a peel pad - What do I like about it?

~  It helps to shrink the pores and improve the overall skin texture.

~  It helps to treat acne scars and acne by removing the dead cells and bacteria thats harbouring in the acne region which in turn results in a brighter and more even-toned complexion.

~  Glycolic acid encourages the rebuilding of skin cells and this speedy regrowth results in brighter and more even skin-tones.

~  Glycolic acid works to strengthen deeper layers of the skin which helps to soften fine lines and promote a plump and fresh appearance and maintaining this effect is required if you wish to continue having a plump and even skin-toned.

Has anyone tried using a peel pad which has a glycolic acid ingredient? I highly recommend this stuff if you wish to have good skin :)
